On the Supramonte di Baunei in central-eastern Sardinia , generations of goat farmers have followed one another over the decades protecting nature and offering it to the new generations still intact and with the exceptional traces of their work on a territory as spectacular as it is inhospitable.
By now there are few goatherds who carry on that ancient trade, but they are the true connoisseurs of the Supramonte, preserving in their memory and in their daily gestures an experience of life dating back centuries.
Some of the old Coiles are still active and the hospitality of its owners allows you to appreciate the flavours, tastes and aromas of a simple, natural and genuine cuisine. Salvatore and Paolo, born and raised in the Supramonte, heirs of the memory of the generations that preceded them and profound connoisseurs of the places, offer a unique service of Environmental Excursion Guides.
